What warranty does the Aurora Projector come with?

Two years, free, on every unit. If it stops working in normal use within that time, email us and we replace it — you pay nothing and you keep the original.

What's covered

Anything that stops the projector working properly in normal household use. The motor, the light, the electronics, the speaker, the remote, the connection — if it fails, that's ours. We don't ask you to prove you didn't cause it and we don't send you a diagnostic checklist.

We replace rather than repair. A unit that's failed has already cost you an evening you wanted back; posting it off for three weeks of repair would cost you a month more.

What isn't covered

Accidental damage — dropping it, standing on it, water. Normal wear on the outer casing. And anything bought from a third party, because we can't warrant a unit we didn't ship. We only sell through aurora-projector.com, so if it came from somewhere else it isn't one of ours.

How to claim

Email info@aurora-projector.com with your order number and a short description of what it's doing. Most claims are resolved in the first reply. If a replacement is needed we ship it from our US warehouse, so it reaches you in the same two to five days as the original order.

Keep your order confirmation email — that's your proof of purchase. If you can't find it, we can look it up from the email address you ordered with.

Warranty or return — which one do you need?

If it's broken, that's the warranty and we cover everything including postage. If it works but you don't want it, that's the 30-night trial, where you send it back and cover the postage yourself. The returns page explains that side.

Extending it to three years

If you want longer, our 3-Year Warranty & Fault Protection adds a third year for $19.00. Worth it if the projector is going into a child's room, a rental, or anywhere it'll get handled daily — and not worth it otherwise. Two years already covers the window in which a manufacturing fault would show itself.

Why we can offer two years

Because of what's inside it. The motor is the component most projectors in this category cut costs on, and it's the one that fails first. Ours was specified to run quietly for years rather than months, which is also why the product costs what it does. A two-year warranty on a cheaply built unit would bankrupt the company selling it.

Common questions

Does the Aurora Projector have a warranty?

Yes. Two years, free, on every unit. If it stops working in normal use we replace it at no cost.

What does the warranty cover?

Any failure in normal household use — the motor, light, electronics, speaker, remote or connection. It doesn't cover accidental damage or water.

Do I pay anything to claim?

No. We cover the replacement and the postage on a warranty claim.

Do you repair or replace?

Replace. A failed unit is swapped for a new one rather than sent away for repair.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Email info@aurora-projector.com with your order number and what it's doing. Most claims are resolved in the first reply.

What's the difference between the warranty and the 30-night trial?

The warranty is for faults and we cover everything. The trial is for changing your mind, and you cover the return postage.

Can I extend the warranty?

Yes. Our 3-Year Warranty & Fault Protection adds a third year for $19.00.

Is the warranty valid if I bought it somewhere else?

No. We only sell through aurora-projector.com, so a unit from anywhere else isn't one we shipped and isn't one we can warrant.
