Most projectors are sold on brightness because they're trying to compete with daylight. This one isn't. It's built for the hour when the curtains are shut and the lights are off — and at that point a softer picture is the point, not a compromise.

Everything worth knowing before you set it up.

That's set by how far back you put it. Five and a half feet gives you around 80 inches, seven feet gives you 100, and it goes up to 200 if you have the room. It uses a short throw lens, so it works in a small bedroom — most projectors need most of a room to fill a wall.
Dark. Lights off with the curtains drawn is where it looks its best, and that's when most people use it anyway. With a lamp on in the corner it's still perfectly watchable. In a bright afternoon room it won't be — nothing this size will be.
The simplest way is to plug in a Fire Stick or a Chromecast. They go straight into the HDMI port and everything works exactly as it does on your TV. There are apps built in over WiFi as well, but streaming services handle licensing differently on projectors, so a Fire Stick is what we'd recommend.
A plain, light wall is ideal — magnolia or off-white is fine. A heavily textured or dark wall will soften the picture a little. If that's your only wall, a cheap white sheet or a pull-down screen sorts it.
HDMI and USB, so a Fire Stick, a laptop, a games console or a Blu-ray player. You can also cast from an iPhone or Android over WiFi. There's a 3.5mm output if you'd rather use your own speaker, and it pairs over Bluetooth.
Yes, once it's properly dark. It runs off the mains, so you'll want an extension lead. Summer evenings against a fence or a white sheet is one of the things people use it for most.
There's a fan and you'll hear it in a completely silent room — it runs under 40 decibels, roughly a quiet library. Once there's sound playing you stop noticing it.
Yes. Most people just set it on a shelf or a bedside table and point it at the wall — the automatic keystone squares the picture up either way.

It's really good for this price. The image quality is quite sufficient in low-light environments. Having an Android market is a nice advantage. The phone screen can be mirrored. The device can automatically adjust the clarity of the projected image thanks to the small camera on it. The only negative point in my opinion is that the adapter cable is only 1.5M long and the fan on it is a bit noisy. It might be slightly bothersome if you sit very close to it.

Great image quality, I bought it because my 50" TV broke while waiting for one that fits my needs and budget to come out, and I've been watching movie marathons on the ceiling where I don't mind having the TV at all.

This is the first projector that Ive seen lets you adjust the picture settings such as brightness, contrast, hue and all that good stuff, you're not just stuck with whatever is the default settings like with others, great cant say enough good things about it, highly recommend the Cinema Projector
